Torvel is a blog for those of us who need both a constant reminder that life is what you make it. Maybe some of you, like me, have had issues with your cents and need a sense reality. We are people fighting debt and bad spending habits while building a financially secure future and still trying to enjoy ourselves.
In addition to following along with my financial status, I will cover topics ranging from careers to entertainment, family to fitness, and a lot in between. I am excited to share this journey with you.
Who are you?
I am a 30 year-old man, and around 2006, I just got sick and tired of all my money going to banks, credit cards, and other debtors. So I began educating myself on how to get out of this mess. I began reading financial gurus books and their respective philosophies. I found a plan that I like, began working on it and now see something that looks like light at the end of the “debt” tunnel. Although I still have a long way to go, I think that sharing my story, progress and other topics along the way will not only hopefully help some of you, but keep me focused.
